Genocide - Research Questions

1. Hypothesis

  • Following the Holocaust the incidents of genocide around the world will decrease dramatically.  

  • The lesson learned following the holocaust will have a great influence on nations around the world.

 

Research question

  • Were there any incidents of genocide, similar to the Holocaust, since 1946?

  • How did the lesson learned following the Holocaust, influence the world, regarding the aspect of genocide?

 

The goal:

To show that even though, there were rules and regulations which were established following the Holocaust, there was and is still genocide in number of places around the world.

 

2. Hypothesis

  • Genocide has a systematic pattern of events which can be easily identified and prevented.

 

Research question

  • What are the crucial steps in the process of genocide? Where and how can they be prevented?

  • If there is a pattern which can be identified to genocide, has the world/ leading nations, ever interfere? And if so, was it beneficial?

 

The goal: 

  • To identify and describe the different process which took place in two different events of genocide.

  • To compare and contrast the events.

  • To draw conclusions and come up with several suggestions for prevention.

  • To prove that when the world interferes, it results in prevention or even elimination of these brutal actions.
